THE FROG TSAREVNA
Long time ago there was a tsar who had three sons,the youngest of them was called Ivan.One day the tsar called his sons and said them: "MY DEAR SONS, WHILE IM NOT OLD I LIKE TO SEE YOU MARRIED".
the sons answered: "If that is your wish father, who would like us to marry"
"you must each of you go to an open field,take an arrow and shoot and wherever they fall you will find you destined brides there.so they aimed and shot the arrows,so the oldest son married with boyar's daughter,the middle son with merchant's daughter,but ivans arrow fell somewhere far and after finding for long time what he found was a frog sitting,ivan felt sad and married it.
Days passed and the tsar said to his sons. "I want to see which of your wives is the best neddle-woman,let them each make me a shirt by tomorrow morning.Ivan was sad because his wife couldnt make a shirt and he told his wife about that,the frog said "dont grieve and go to bed everything will be alright.when he went to bed the frog cast-off its skin and turned into vasilisa the wise and made a shirt . In the morning when he woke up he saw the frog but the shirt was all made and ready and when the saw the shirts he didnt like the others but when he saw the frogs shirt he said " that is a shirt to wear on holidays".
The tsar again called to his sons and told them to feast with him the next day with their wives
once again ivan came home sad and told his wife about that.the frog answered " dont be afraid and go to the feast alone and i will come later"
the next morning he went there , everyone was laughing at him but after they started to dance they heard strong noises and a beautiful woman came riding six white horses,everyone was admired, ivan ran home and saw the frog skin,he burned it and when vasilisa the wise came home and saw, she got sad and turned into a grey bird and flew away,he started to find her and on the way he saw a bear,bird,fish and drake. They said "dont kill us and who knows,you will need us one day"and after he walks more he sees a witch and tells him the way to his wife but first of he must kill koschei the deathless and then his wife will be free and but first of all you must find the magical needle and it is in a chest on a tree but it was too high , but suddenly that bear comes and brakes the tree and the chest then the bird and the drake come and open the chest but the needle falls in the sea but the fish gets the key and brings to ivan. ivan kills koschei and free his wife.and they live together.
the story wasnt bad and wasnt good, I abbreviated some parts because it was longer.

The Valley of Fear The story is about the murder of John Douglas. Sherlock and his trusty friend DR.Watson are trying to solve it. The story starts with Sherlock and Watson sitting down when their maid gave them a massage which was written in it DOUGLAS it was night at the time so they put it away and in the morning a man named Mr.Mac came to them reporting the death of John Douglas. Mr.Mac beged to to him to come and investigate the murder Sherlock agrees. In the next morning Sherlock and Watson go to the palace which Douglas had been murdered there. With him lived her wife Mrs.Douglas his friend Mr.Barker her maid Mrs.Alan and their butler Mr.Aims. First they go to talk with Mr.Aims he didn't know much but he said that he didn't hear the shot Mrs.Alan says the same thing Mr.Barker says he heard the shot and he rushed the the noise but when he arrived he was already shot in the head Mrs.Douglas says that she heard the shot. John was from America Sherlock asked her did he have any enemies that wanted him dead she answered no but one day John was saying to himself I will never escape from the valley of fear. That night Sherlock was in one of the rooms that palace had a small river surrounding it he told Watson to give him his umbrella and go for a few minutes Watson asked him what is the purpose Sherlock said evidence. After they "went" but they were outside watching them after a few hours they saw Mr.Barker fishing out something from the lake they went after him they entered the house and they saw John Douglas standing in front of them and next to him Mr.Barker they were in shock but Sherlock wasn't they told Douglas how is he here he started telling his story that he was a private agent he was sent to join a gang he says after 4 months that all of them trusted him the gang got a massage that a a agent was on them at that moment Douglas said that he is the agent and there is 40 policeman in the building. And after many years the day that he said that he died there was a man behind the curtain he came out to shoot they started fighting the man ended up killing himself by accident. Douglas said that they had identical bodies so he replaced his clothes so he can fake his death and that was from his old gang they had the tattoo of the gang. The story was not bad I didn't get the point of it. It was interesting in the beginning but it got worse after. If I was the book writer I would've included more action because that is the purpose of Sherlock stories.
The content of the book is scarier
than its name. This book is about a photographer named Horace who meets Mr. and
Mrs. Von Macht . Their daughter Eleanora died of a fever, but Horace discovers
things about Eleanora’s death. There is a black girl Pegg , who is the servant
of Von Macht family . She helps Horace in many different ways.
The story talks about four pictures of Eleanora that Horace needs to find. But he did not take those pictures; he must find them to prove that he did not take them. If he will not find them they
will arrest him. The pictures were taken before Eleanora’s dead. Furthermore, Pegg helps Horace to find the pictures but they find only three. Eleanora is wearing light colors in the photos: white, light pink or light yellow. But they did not find those photos as easy as I mentioned above, it was extremely hard to find them. When they were looking for the photos they discovered a lot of things about Eleanora and her family. They discovered that Eleanora is not Mr. and Mrs. Von Macht’s
daughter. She is Mrs. Von Macht’s niece. Her mother died when she was a baby
girl, thus they decided to adopt her and be her parents.
In these months Horace and Pegg become good friends and they tell each other a lot of secrets. One day Pegg decides to talk about her relationship with Eleanora. She tells Horace that they were like sisters. They loved each other a lot and that Eleanora used to say that they were real sisters.
Then Pegg told him the truth about Eleanora death, which was definitely not the fever, she was killed by someone.
After searching a lot they find the forth photo. However, something was not okay with that photo, where Pegg was standing in a big hall and there was something strange behind her. It was
Eleanora’s ghost and she was wearing a black dress. Moreover, Horce begins to live in Von Macht house.
One day they see her ghost again in that hall. Horace and Pegg get really scared. They think about going to the police to report ELeanora’s death case and find the murderer. There was a man named Mr. Middleditch. He helped them to find the killer. They searched for years, and after a long time they discovered that the ghost of her real parents killed her, because they wanted her to be with them. So this is the main reason why the book is entitled “THE SEER OF SHADOWS.”
I think this book was great, but it was very irrational and imaginary. The way
the author wrote the scariest part of it was great; I really liked the suspense in there which hooked
me to continue reading the book till the end. He described every scary moment and I felt that it is happening with me – now. I think I wouldn’t change anything in the book; I like it the way it is.

The artist was drawing a picture of someone named Dorian gray. Dorian gray was someone that Basil worshipped and were close friends, the met a couple of months ago before the artist started drawing his picture. When Henry arrived at Basils house he asked who was the person in the picture, Basil was quiet but then Henry asked him if he would exhibit the picture and then Basil answered no,there is too much of myself in the picture.And then again Lord Henry asked what do u mean by that and after that Basil told him everything about Dorian Gray and Lord Henry wanted to meet him. Fortunately for Henry Dorian arrived the same day to finish the picture.When he arrived Henry and Dorian started talking and Basil was drawing Dorian.When the picture was finished Henry tolled Dorian about his beauty and that he's going to lose it when he grows older so at that point Dorian made a wish so that he would never grow old and ugly but the man in the picture will.A couple weeks later Henry And Dorian became close friends, and Dorian had met a girl,she was an actress Dorian wanted to marry her but he wanted for Henry and Basil to see her act first.Dorian and Sybil Vane (The girl) spent a lot of time together and they wanted to marry each other but Sybil didn't even know hes name instead she called him Prince Charming.One day Henry, Basil and Dorian went to see Sibyl act but that day she acted the worst and Henry and Basil were surprised because Dorian only said good things about Sybil. When all was over Dorian went to see her and they talked but then Dorian made broke her heart(long story)and the next day all the news were about a girl committing suicide and Dorian was so upset and he thought of the picture for some reason and went to see it, when he saw it he felt that the face has changed a bit,Dorian thought he was going crazy and he slept.In the morning he went to see the picture and indeed it was changed,how could this be could the wish he made came true?.
18 years have passed Dorian was becoming more evil every day he lived and the picture was getting to get the face of the Devil.People started talking about him differently because he still looked like he was 20,every place he went people were ignoring and staying away from him and every night he went home and looked at the picture getting worse with a smile on his face.
Basil visited Dorian to tell him something important he said he was going to travel for 6 months and he came to tell him all the bad thing he was listening from people.Dorian said they were true but Basil didn't believe him until he showed him the picture Basil drew and how it was changed,and then Dorian knew he had to kill his old friend or everybody would know his secret so he grabbed the knife and killed his friend.and he burned his coat and suitcase so no one would know.Afterwards the picture had lots of blood on it.A couple months later he decided to restart all over and be innocent so he took a vacation and after he came back he tolled Henry about the goof things he has done and he hoped that the picture has changed too,but it wasn't it even had more blood than before so he thought that the only way for him to live in peace was to kill the picture and he grabbed the knife and stabbed the picture but then he was choking he started bleeding and eventually he died .And then everyone came to the room the servants and Henry and saw he was dead but the picture was peaceful again like it never changed ever.
So my thoughts are that story was really good and I think the story is telling us not to do something we didn't of enough...

Doomwatch
The world in danger
The story is written by Gerry Davis and Kit Pedler.
The story is about a group that solve scientific problems around the world.Their group is made of 5 people one of them is the director (Spencer Quist) and the others work with him hep him.Spencer Quist won a Noble prize in nuclear science.One day a plane was flying to Bogota and everything was good until everything with plastic started melting,the driver couldn't drive because it melted so they reached the aircraft it touched the ground and then went up again and went down again and explode.
The next they when they heard about the crash,they sent a man from their group to find out what happened.When he arrived he arrived he realized that the plane didn't crash because of the pilot or the people on it.It was chemical element that can melt plastic and because of the element,everything with plastic in the plane was melted and it caused the crash.So when he returned back to Doomwatch he gave the element to them and they found out that was very dangerous and went to the minister and said to stop that team that is using this kind of chemical element.The minister had to stop it because it was very dangerous.
So another day another news was showing on the TV and it was about a man who throw himself from the cliff to death.And the man was Quists friend,so the next day Quist went there to found out what happened first they though that it was a suicide,but then in that village everyday in 3 past 15 o'clock a plane that called T9 was passing from top of the village and when people hear the sound of the plane in front of their gets black everything starts burning and they get a huge shock.So when Quist realized that it happens to everyone and it needs to stop,so they met the minister and told him about the plane and about his friends death.So when they told him about the facts that it may kill many people but this time the minister couldn't believe him so they didn't stop the mission of T9 and because of that they left the village and went to Doomwatch.
One month later another accident happened.A plane that had nuclear in it crashed in the ocean and they can't find it.So the minister called Doomwatch to his office and told them about what happened to the plane and the next day they went to the nearest seaside and started searching when they found it they started to defuse the bomb but in the last minute it exploded and everywhere was on fire.After that Quist left the Doomwatch and they didn't do any mission after that explosion.
What i understood from the book is that when you want to do something and you fail you don't have to quit your job.
