The Picture Of Dorian Gray

The story starts with someone named Lord Henry, he was a man that lived with pleasure. He was going to see an artist named Basil Hallward. The artist was drawing a picture of someone named Dorian gray. Dorian gray was someone that Basil worshipped and were close friends, the met a couple of months ago before the artist started drawing his picture. When  Henry arrived at Basils house he asked who was the person in the picture, Basil was quiet but then  Henry asked him if he would exhibit the picture and then Basil answered no,there is too much of myself in the picture.And then again Lord Henry asked what do u mean by that and after that Basil told him everything about Dorian Gray and Lord Henry wanted to meet him. Fortunately for Henry Dorian arrived the same day to finish the picture.When he arrived Henry and Dorian started talking and Basil was drawing Dorian.When the picture was finished Henry tolled Dorian about his beauty and that he's going to lose it when he grows older so at that point Dorian made a wish so that he would never grow old and ugly but the man in the picture will.A couple weeks later Henry And Dorian became close friends, and Dorian had met a girl,she was an actress Dorian wanted to marry her but he wanted for Henry and Basil to see her act first.Dorian and Sybil Vane (The girl) spent a lot of time together and they wanted to marry each other but Sybil didn't even know hes name instead she called him Prince Charming.One day  Henry, Basil and Dorian went to see Sibyl act but that day she acted the worst and Henry and Basil were surprised because Dorian only said good things about Sybil. When all was over Dorian went to see her and they talked but then Dorian made broke her heart(long story)and the next day all the news were about a girl committing suicide and Dorian was so upset and he thought of the picture for some reason and went to see it, when he saw it he felt that the face has changed a bit,Dorian thought he was going crazy and he slept.In the morning he went to see the picture and indeed it was changed,how could this be could the wish he made came true?.
18 years have passed Dorian was becoming more evil every day he lived and the picture was getting to get the face of the Devil.People started talking about him differently because he still looked like he was 20,every place he went people were ignoring and staying away from him and every night he went home and looked at the picture getting worse with a smile on his face.
Basil visited Dorian to tell him something important he said he was going to travel for 6 months and he came to tell him all the bad thing he was listening from people.Dorian said they were true but Basil didn't believe him until he showed him the picture Basil drew and how it was changed,and then Dorian knew he had to kill his old friend or everybody would know his secret so he grabbed the knife and killed his friend.and he burned his coat and suitcase so no one would know.Afterwards the picture had lots of blood on it.A couple months later he decided to restart all over and be innocent so he took a vacation and after he came back he tolled Henry about the goof things he has done and he hoped that the picture has changed too,but it wasn't it even had more blood than before so he thought that the only way for him to live in peace was to kill the picture and he grabbed the knife and stabbed the picture but then he was choking he started bleeding and eventually he died .And then everyone came to the room the servants and Henry and saw he was dead but the picture was peaceful again like it never changed ever.


So my thoughts are that story was really good and I think the story is telling us not to do something we didn't of enough...
