The Valley of Fear                         The story is about the murder of John Douglas. Sherlock and his trusty friend DR.Watson are trying to solve it. The story starts with Sherlock and Watson sitting down when their maid gave them a massage which was written in it DOUGLAS it was night at the time so they put it away and in the morning a man named Mr.Mac came to them reporting the death of John Douglas. Mr.Mac beged to to him to come and investigate the murder Sherlock agrees. In the next morning Sherlock and Watson go to the palace which Douglas had been murdered there. With him lived her wife Mrs.Douglas his friend Mr.Barker her maid Mrs.Alan and their butler Mr.Aims. First they go to talk with Mr.Aims he didn't know much but he said that he didn't hear the shot Mrs.Alan says the same thing Mr.Barker says he heard the shot and he rushed the the noise but when he arrived he was already shot in the head Mrs.Douglas says that she heard the shot. John was from America Sherlock asked her did he have any enemies that wanted him dead she answered no but one day John was saying to himself I will never escape from the valley of fear. That night Sherlock was in one of the rooms that palace had a small river surrounding it he told Watson to give him his umbrella and go for a few minutes Watson asked him what is the purpose Sherlock said evidence. After they "went" but they were outside watching them after a few hours they saw Mr.Barker fishing out something from the lake they went after him they entered the house and they saw John Douglas standing in front of them and next to him Mr.Barker they were in shock but Sherlock wasn't they told Douglas how is he here he started telling his story that he was a private agent he was sent to join a gang he says after 4 months that all of them trusted him the gang got a massage that a a agent was on them at that moment Douglas said that he is the agent and there is 40 policeman in the building. And after many years the day that he said that he died there was a man behind the curtain he came out to shoot they started fighting the man ended up killing himself by accident. Douglas said that they had identical bodies so he replaced his clothes so he can fake his death and that was from his old gang they had the tattoo of the gang. The story was not bad I didn't get the point of it. It was interesting in the beginning but it got worse after.                                                                                                                                                                             If I was the book writer I would've included more action because that is the purpose of Sherlock stories.
